Man arrested for dealing resulting in death 1 year after fatal overdose in Mooresville
MOORESVILLE, Ind. — Police have arrested a Mooresville man accused of supplying narcotics that led to an overdose death last year.

According to the Mooresville Police Department, 29-year-old Holden Roberts has been placed under arrest and preliminarily charged with Dealing in a Controlled Substance Causing Death (Level 1 Felony) and Dealing In a Narcotic Drug (Level

5 Felony).

Mooresville police began investigating in May 2024 when they responded to a residence located in the 300 block of Springmill Drive. There, they found 26-year-old Brayden Daniel, who was pronounced dead on the scene. Police confirmed Daniel died as a result of an overdose.

Mooresville police did not confirm in its release which narcotic or combination of narcotics ultimately caused the fatal overdose.

Roberts is currently incarcerated at the Morgan County Jail as he awaits his initial hearing. Anyone with information related to the case is asked to contact MPD at 317-831-3434.
