
Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Dean C. Logan announced that vote by mail ballots are being mailed to all registered voters for the Nov. 4 Statewide Special Election.
Voters can track the status of their ballot at each step of the process using “Where’s My Ballot?” a free subscription service that provides automatic updates by text, email, or voicemail, available at tinyurl.com/yvfxb9u4.
Ballot return options include:
• Official Ballot Drop Boxes – more than 400 secure Ballot Drop Box locations countywide.
• By Mail – return as early as possible, at least seven (7) days before Election Day, to ensure timely receipt.
ª Vote Centers – Starting Oct. 25, voters can drop off their ballot or vote in person at any Vote Center in L.A. County.
Voters are reminded to carefully follow the instructions, sign and date the return envelope before submitting their ballot to ensure it is counted.
The RR/CC provides translated election materials in 18 languages in addition to English. Voters may request materials in their preferred language by completing the Language Request Form located at the back of their Sample Ballot Book, or by calling 800-815-2666, option 3. Spanish-speaking voters may also call 213-358-2701 for direct assistance.
