JEFFERSON PARISH, La. (WGNO) — Jefferson Parish judge Chick Foret has been suspended by the State Supreme Court.
The court found that Foret cursed in court after losing his temper in a 2022 murder trial. They found that he showed bias in a 2021 insurance claims case and in a 2022 class action lawsuit.
The court ruled that those incidents showed willful misconduct and suspended Foret without pay for 30 days.
