Jacob Brentt Perron, 33, of Ville Platte, is charged with one count of distribution/possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and three counts of illegal use of drugs in the presence of a person under 17.
Kenneth Guillory, 36, of Mamou, is charged with one count of possession of methamphetamines and three counts of illegal use of drugs in the presence of a person under 17. Guillory was also named in multiple traffic warrants from Evangeline Parish and the City of Oakdale, authorities said.
Michael Charlie II, 26, of Mamou, was arrested on two outstanding warrants, onf which is failure to appear for possession of Schedule II drugs.
Narcotic Agents with Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office were dispatched Monday to a residence in the 3500 block of Pine Point Road to assist Probation and Parole agents.
The agents were conducting a compliance check at the residence on Perron, a parolee, and found Perron, Charlie and Guillory in a shed at the rear of a trailer. Agents said they observed a piece of cellophane containing 3.39 grams of methamphetamines fall out of Guillory’s pocket.
Probation and Parole agents searched the residence and found a woman and her three minor children, along with numerous digital scales with residue, and glass pipes with residue, officials said. Agents said they also found about three ounces of methamphetamine.
Charlie has since been released on $5,000 bond, jail records show. Perron and Guillory are being held in the Evangeline Parish jail on bonds of $100,000 and $76,500, respectively.
