(FOX40.COM) — Officials with the Sacramento International Airport confirmed that it will not be displaying a new video from the Department of Homeland Security Secretary.

In the video, the United States Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem blames Democrats for the ongoing federal government shutdown.

According to the Associated Press, other airports across the country, including Las Vegas, Charlotte and Phoenix, said the video is political content and therefore displaying it would go against airport policy.

SMF officials did not provide a reason as to why it will not be showing the video.

Noem said in the video that TSA’s “top priority” is making travel pleasant, efficient and safe.

“However, Democrats in Congress refuse to fund the federal government, and because of this, many of our operations are impacted, and most of our TSA employees are working without pay,” she continued.

The shutdown has disrupted routine operations, leaving airports struggling.

Democrats note that Republicans control both chambers of Congress and say they want a deal that addresses their health care demands.

According to the Associated Press, insurance premiums would double if Congress fails to renew the subsidy payments, which expire at the end of the year.
