If you are looking to move your mind, body, and spirit, then it is time for you to visit Bloom Yoga
“Yoga is the calming of the fluctuations of the mind,” said Emma, explaining what yoga is. “What we show people is that you can be in peace amid all the chaos that’s happening in your mind, and yoga is great for your body for numerous reasons.”
Bloom Yoga has just introduced a heated studio, the only one in Shreveport that offers this feature. The heat plays a vital part in the body as it penetrates your muscles and joints.
The studio also aims to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month by having one of their own survivors, Heather Ryan, teach a beginner-friendly class to raise money for Bloom’s local non-profit, Mobile Mammogram.
The class will begin on October 14th from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and the studio asks that attendees wear pink attire. Attendees will also be able to donate through the company’s Venmo @bloomyoga318.
With there being limited spaces and opportunities for children to get involved in yoga, Bloom has designed a camp. The camp will allow kids ages 5-8 to build gratitude, kindness, and mindfulness while having a blast with friends.
Every child will receive a t-shirt and will leave each day with full hearts, happy smiles, and maybe a new yoga pose to share. The camp runs from Nov. 25th – 26th, giving kids a social outlet right before the Thanksgiving holiday.
