
ROBARDS, Ky. (WEHT) – Officials with the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office have confirmed to Eyewitness News that two people were killed after their vehicle was hit by a train near Robards on Tuesday morning.
Authorities at the scene said a father and son were pronounced dead following the crash near the intersection of Cherry Hill Road and Robards-Busby Station Road.
Their vehicle was reportedly pushed over 2,000 feet from the site of the initial impact.
No railroad workers were reported injured.
