$70K raised for charity, record broken at Park City Sunrise Shot Ski event
The ninth annual Park City Sunrise Shot Ski event took place on Saturday, October 11 at 2 p.m., and 1,410 people took a shot, raising over $70,000 for the Park City Sunrise Rotary Club grant program.

The money raised by the event will benefit more than 44 community groups in Summit County. The annual event is organized by volunteers with the Rotary Club and by High West Distillery.
The number of people at the event broke the world record for the largest number of people to take a shot from a shot ski at the same time.
Participants took shots of High West Double Rye Whiskey from communal shot skis, and money was raised through sponsorships. Sponsors received a variety of gifts based on the amount of money donated, including skis with custom designs and High West branded gifts.
The Park City Sunrise Rotary Club offers local community grants to organizations that serve the community, especially those that align with Rotary values like promoting peace, supporting education, protecting the environment, and growing local economies.
