Second arrest made in connection to Montgomery mass shooting
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WIAT) — A 19-year-old man was arrested Monday following a mass shooting that occurred in Montgomery earlier in October.
According to the Montgomery Police Department, Dantavious McGhee is charged with capital murder, nine counts of first-degree assault and three counts of second-degree assault. The late-night Oct. 4 shooting in the area of Bibb Street and Commerce Street left two people dead–a 43-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy–and 12 others injured.

A juvenile male was arrested on the same charges in connection to the case Friday. McGhee and the juvenile were transported to the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
