Scammers impersonate police to target elderly in Jessamine County

JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Jessamine County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents about reports of scammers trying to get money from elderly people.

Officials said these are some of the examples of fake documents circulating.

LATEST KENTUCKY NEWS:

Reports include owed debt, jury duty, and warrants.

Deputies said no law enforcement agency will ever contact you about a warrant or ask for money.
