More dry weather with mild nights & rather hot days
Very warm Monday: Temperatures on Monday will get off to a rather mild start with lows in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Thanks to some rather dry air, we will see a big warm up during the day as afternoon highs will end up in the upper 80s to lower 90s.
Dry weather continues: Most of the ArkLaTex has gone more than two weeks without any measurable rain. That streak will continue on Monday. Futurecast shows a clear sky on Sunday night and plenty of sunshine on Monday. We will likely stay mostly clear on Monday night with plenty of sunshine returning on Tuesday.
Long-range outlook: The dry weather will likely continue through most of Saturday. Temperatures at night will gradually warm up during the week, with lows returning to near 70 by the beginning of the weekend. Daytime highs will likely stay close to 90 degrees. A cold front will bring a chance for some storms that could be strong very late next Saturday and Saturday night. Cooler air will invade the area behind this front with highs falling into the low to middle 80s. Overnight lows will end up in the upper 50s to lower 60s. We could see a second shot at some rain at the end of the 10-day period.
