Man who allegedly knocked employee’s teeth out arrested in Lemoore, deputies say

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man who was sought after for allegedly pistol-whipping the teeth out of an employee in Porterville was arrested in Lemoore, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office announced.

Deputies say 31-year-old Alejandro Sanchez of Porterville was pulled over by Lemoore Police on Saturday regarding an armed robbery that occurred Thursday.

Investigators reported that on Oct. 9, deputies responded to the Cosecha Recycling Center in the 1300 Block of East Springville Ave in Porterville for an armed robbery.

Deputies said the suspect, Sanchez, allegedly walked into the business armed with a gun and demanded money. Sanchez had reportedly pistol-whipped a recycling employee, inflicting facial lacerations and knocking out teeth.

Investigators said Sanchez had fled before they arrived; however, he was ultimately booked into the Kings County Jail after being found on Saturday.

Deputies report Sanchez will eventually be transported back to Tulare County.
