Experts at Travcash.se analyzed the most and least commonly drawn numbers in Powerball since October 2015 to determine the luckiest and unluckiest numbers, as well as those that are most overdue.
Powerball is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S., with 181 million players each year. Upon purchasing a ticket, players pick five main numbers between 1 and 69 and one ‘Powerball number’ between 1 and 26. Common Powerball Tactics
Many people have their own tactics that they believe will increase their chances of securing the Powerball jackpot. For example, it is common for players to use a meaningful date, such as a birthday or anniversary, and while this is a widely used tactic, using dates limits your number choices to those between 1 and 31.
Another classic approach is leaving the number selection to Quick Pick, a strategy referring to when the terminal randomly decides the numbers for you – this makes it easy for players, and therefore, a popular way to play. Many previous jackpot winners used this method, which makes it tempting. However, in reality, there is no higher chance of winning by using a random selection chosen by Quick Pick than there is by aimlessly selecting your own numbers.
