Inside California Politics: Oct. 12, 2025

(INSIDE CALIFORNIA POLITICS) — State Superintendent of Public Instruction and gubernatorial candidate Tony Thurmond joined Inside California Politics last week to discuss his top issues facing the state and how he plans to solve them if elected.

Thurmond announced he would provide a tax credit to Californians who are struggling to make ends meet. He also discussed the state of education in California following the coronavirus pandemic, how he would work with the Trump administration as governor, redistricting, funding for Proposition 36 and more.
