A UAMS College of Medicine graduate, Dr. McMasters completed his internship at Brooke Army Medical Center and his anesthesiology residency through the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium. He served with distinction in the U.S. Army Medical Corps, rising to Lieutenant Colonel and deploying during Operation Iraqi Freedom as Chief of Anesthesia with the 28th Combat Support Hospital in Iraq.
“His depth of experience, especially in cardiac anesthesiology, adds immense value to our services,” said Baxter Health President and CEO Ron Peterson. “We are honored to welcome Dr. McMasters to our team.”
Outside the hospital, Dr. McMasters enjoys spending time with his family, reading, fishing, and following a variety of sports.
