Louisiana’s Office of Tourism has developed the trail as part of the state’s Year of Food campaign. So, how does the trail work? This trail features 16 locations across the state, allowing visitors to explore a variety of sauces and how they enhance natural flavors. Notable sauces included in the trail are Tabasco red sauces, Panola Pepper hot sauces, and Slap Ya Mama Cajun sauce. Guests can also take a tour of the Tabasco and Panola Pepper factories.
Visitors who sign up will receive a free, mobile-exclusive passport to download. This will include a curated selection of restaurants, retailers, and more. The passport will be instantly delivered to your phone via text and will be ready to use immediately. When visiting a participating business, show your phone to redeem available discounts.
