The book, authored by Rock Valley College history professor Dr. Dan Blumlo, explores the college’s journey over the past six decades, covering topics from athletics and arts to academics and the challenges faced during the early 1980s recession.
“I just hope it inspires people to, I hope it sparks their curiosity. I hope that this is just the first step in that others will continue to look back at the college and its relationship to the community,” said Blumlo.
The college hosted a book signing session where guests could obtain copies of the book. This event was part of the celebrations marking the institution’s milestone anniversary.
The book is available for purchase on Arcadia Publishing’s website and Amazon, making it accessible to a wider audience interested in the college’s history.
