Erroll G. Williams wins Orleans Parish Assessor race

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Erroll G. Williams was reelected Assessor in the Orleans Parish elections on Saturday, Oct. 11.

Democrat Williams ran against No Party Coreygerard Dowden, Democrat Casius H. Pealer III and Republican Earl “Jay” Schmitt, Jr.

Williams won the race with 61% of the vote.

According to his campaign website, Williams has been an Orleans Parish Assessor since 1985. He received a bachelor’s degree from Dillard University and an MBA from Tulane University.
