The DMV in Clovis is temporarily closing
CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The DMV office in Clovis will be temporarily closed starting this week.

State officials announced on Thursday that the DMV office closure starts at 5 p.m. on Friday. The first full day it will be closed will be Oct. 13. The office is set to reopen 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28.

The DMV says the closure will give them time to repair the building’s flooring, ceiling tiles, and windows. According to staff, the parking lot will also be repaired and restriped.

Until the renovations are complete, state officials say customers can visit dmv.ca.gov or one of the following area offices:

  • Fresno North DMV: 6420 N. Blackstone Ave. (8 miles from the Clovis office)
  • Fresno DMV: 655 W. Olive Ave. (13 miles from the Clovis office)
  • Reedley DMV: 1890 E. Dinuba Ave. (28 miles from the Clovis office)
  • Madera DMV: 1206 Maple St. (33 miles from the Clovis office)
