Sassy Mac Boys to move into former Machesney Park Subway

MACHESNEY PARK, Ill. (WTVO) — A former Subway restaurant in Machesney Park is set to become the home of Sassy Mac Boys, as the food truck launches its first brick and mortar location.

Owner Donald Czyzyk announced the expansion on Facebook.

Based out of Durand, the Sassy Mac Boys food truck has gained popularity for “the world’s best Mac.”

Menu options for its mac and cheese include a rotating selection, which has included: pizza, taco, loaded bacon, loaded jalapeno, pulled pork, bacon garlic parmesean, and smoked bacon sausage.

The store is set to open this fall at 10223 N. 2nd Street.
