Fall feel in the mornings, Warm and sunny afternoons
In the tropics, there are two systems we are currently tracking. The first is Tropical Storm Jerry which is battling against wind shear and dry air. Jerry looks to remain fairly weak as it is pulled northward into the open Atlantic.
The second is Subtropical Storm Karen. Karen has a brief window to turn fully tropical today before rapidly weakening over the northern Atlantic.
Locally, our weather remains quiet through the next week. Sunshine will fill the sky each day with only a few clouds. Temperatures in the mornings will be very pleasant in the 60s before warming to the upper 80s during the afternoon hours. By the middle of next week, humidity creeps back into the forecast with afternoon highs near 90 degrees.
