Police said no injuries were reported.
Several fire departments, hazmat teams, law enforcement agencies, and railroad personnel were called to the scene, and the Sheriff is requesting the public to avoid the area as crews begin the cleanup process.
Police expect N. Stagecoach Trail in Nora to remain closed for an extended amount of time.
Residents who were evacuated from their homes were asked to go to the Warren Community building, at 110 W Main St, in neighboring Warren.
