'To die for': New mayor-approved bagel shop opens in Downtown Fresno
Einstein Bros. Bagels opened with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony. Mayor Dyer, who said he broke his diet to try their pizza bagel, called the experience “to die for,” and described it as “delicious and creamy.”
The bagelry prepares freshly baked bagels each morning, which can be served à la carte or as part of their signature breakfast sandwiches.
The new cafe can be found at 2343 Kern St., right across from the Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center. It is the company’s third Fresno location.
Dyer says the newest location is a critical step in downtown’s revitalization.
“It always excites me when we open up a new business, but it really excites me when we open up a business in Downtown Fresno,” Dyer said.
The bagelry will be open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
