Written from press release
Bloomington, Ind. — October 2, 2025 — The Local Clay Potters’ Guild will host its 27th Annual Holiday Show at the Monroe Convention Center, showcasing the work of regional ceramic artists and a special guest from Michigan.
The show opens Friday, October 31, from 4 to 9 p.m., and continues Saturday, November 1, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the convention center, located at 301 S. College Ave. in downtown Bloomington.
This year’s event will feature a diverse selection of handmade pottery, including colorful functional dinnerware, serving pieces, jewelry, and whimsical freestanding and wall sculptures designed for both home and garden. Each piece, made from a variety of clays and mineral glazes, reflects the individual creativity and craftsmanship of its maker.
In addition to works from members of the Local Clay Potters’ Guild, the show will welcome Michigan artist Ed Brownlee as a guest exhibitor.
Now in its 27th year, the annual holiday sale has become a beloved Bloomington tradition, offering residents the opportunity to meet local artists, explore one-of-a-kind creations, and support regional makers ahead of the holiday season.
