LPD said its officers responded to the Sept. 23 incident in the Springtown neighborhood around 8:30 a.m.
LPD confirmed Antonio Lopez, 37, of Tracy, was identified as the suspect after a collaborative “thorough investigation” that involved its Criminal Investigations Bureau, Real Time Awareness Center, and the Manteca and Tracy police departments.
Livermore police said Lopez was taken into custody Oct. 1 on a Ramey arrest warrant, which means an arrest warrant was issued by a judge before formal charges were filed.
The estimated total value of the stolen items was not disclosed.
Police did not shed any further light on the investigation into the remaining missing watches.
