Great Clips partners with Children’s Miracle Network in October

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — Great Clips is continuing its partnership with the Children’s Miracle Network for the month of October.

By stopping in at one of the three north central West Virginia locations and donating $1, customers will receive $2 off their next haircut, which can be redeemed at any time.

Great Clips has had this partnership since 2004 and has collectively raised more than $11 million for children’s hospitals around the country.

Locally, Great Clips donates directly to WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital and has been able to give about $50,000 since 2012.

Nicki Gould, the General Manager of Great Clips, spoke with 12 News about how the money that is being donated stays close by.

“We all know people who have had children in the hospitals, and all the money goes local. So, any money that we have raised goes local to the hospitals,” Gould said.

Customers can stop by and donate at any Great Clips location until Nov. 2.
