Frontier Airlines shared that the service will operate twice per week offering fares starting at $29.
“We are very excited to launch this new route from SLC, providing a low-cost option for Utahns traveling to Southern California as well as to tourists planning to hit the slopes of the Wasatch Front,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design, Frontier Airlines. “With the holiday and winter travel seasons just around the corner, now is the perfect time for consumers to plan their travel with America’s Low Fare Airline.”
The airline now has a total of 10 destinations nonstop from SLC. More details on nonstop flights can be found on the Frontier Airlines website.
“We welcome the additional connectivity Frontier’s new flight will provide between SLC and Santa Ana,” said Bill Wyatt, executive director, Salt Lake City International Airport. “The area is a popular destination for Utah residents and with Frontier’s affordable fares this a win-win for our passengers.”
Frontier Airlines shared that it has introduced changes to its product and customer service offerings, with ‘The New Frontier.’ The enhancements include UpFront Plus seating, an upgraded seating option with extra leg and elbow room in the first two rows of the aircraft.
The airline also now offers unlimited companion travel. The service allows Elite Platinum and Diamond members to choose a different companion on every Frontier flight.
Additionally, Frontier Airlines will begin offering First Class seating in late 2025.
