The Brazos County Sheriff’s Office says it received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) leading to the arrest of Jacob Ames-Henry McKenzie. He was arrested at his residence on Thursday.
McKenzie was employed at a daycare in College Station prior to his arrest. The Sheriff’s Office has been in contact with the business, which confirmed that families of the children in their care have been notified.
The Sheriff’s Office says this investigation is ongoing. No further information has been shared.
