Convicted sex offender arrested for allegedly soliciting child sex abuse material involving animals
According to the Hamilton County Metro ICAC Task Force, investigators launched an investigation into 33-year-old Anthony Carmack after receiving a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
The tips were linked to four separate social media accounts that investigators determined belonged to Carmack. The release confirmed that Carmack is a registered sex offender.
As the investigation unfolded, investigators gathered additional evidence that Carmack was allegedly engaging in online conversations with juveniles before “manipulating them to send him child sex abuse material between children and animals.”
When authorities confronted Carmack, he reportedly denied ever having any physical contact with the children. However, he did admit during the interview that he had “thought” of children in his neighborhood.
Carmack was placed under arrest on Tuesday, Oct. 7 and transported to the Madison County Jail, where he faces the following preliminary charges:
