Congressman Shomari C. Figures to host community conversation on Government Shutdown in Russell County

RUSSELL COUNTY, Ala. (WRBL) — With the Government Shutdown now in its second week, leaders in Alabama are looking to discuss what it all entails for the federal workforce and programs.

Congressman Shomari C. Figures announced that he will hold a community conversation to discuss more about the Government Shutdown, which is now in its eighth day.

The community conversation will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 8, at the Russell County Courthouse, located at 1000 Broad Street in Phenix City Alabama, at 6:00 p.m. EST.
