FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Virginia State Police (VSP) and the Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) were asking for the community’s help in searching for a 10-year-old boy who disappeared Tuesday.
Minutes after 2 a.m. on Oct. 8, VSP activated a CODI Alert for Jeremiah Pombor.
According to Fairfax County police, Jeremiah was last seen on Tuesday, Oct. 7, around 5 p.m. in the 6700 block of Tower Drive.
Investigators believed that Jeremiah was last seen wearing a black shirt with black sweatpants and black Crocs. He might be carrying a bag and a football.
FCPD noted that Jeremiah is considered “endangered” because of his age.
Just before 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 8, Fairfax County police announced that Jeremiah was found and is safe.
