Authorities investigating officer-involved shooting on South Side

CHICAGO (WGN) – The Civilian Office of Police Accountability (COPA) is investigating an officer-involved shooting on the city’s South Side.

WGN-TV arrived at the scene near the intersection of 111th Street and State Street in West Roseland and found a large police presence with officers taping off a large portion of the area.

No details surrounding the incident have been released at this time.
