ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Anne Arundel County police are investigating after several gunshots were heard in the Brooklyn Park area on Tuesday night, with one residence reportedly struck by the gunfire.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department said officers were on patrol near Cross Street and Wasena Avenue around 7:40 p.m. on Oct. 7, when they heard multiple gunshots coming from the area of Patrick Henry Drive and Alley 69.

While officers searched the area, someone reported to police that a bullet had entered a home on Ballman Avenue.

Police conducted an “extensive canvass” of the area and spoke to several witnesses who said they heard the gunshots but were unable to describe any potential suspects.
