11-year-old boy, father among those killed in plane crash from Kentucky to Florida

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — The names of the people on board a Kentucky plane that crashed in Florida have been released.

According to GoFundMe, Spencer Arnold of Bowling Green, along with Jacob Harnett and Harnett’s 11-year-old son, Carter, were killed in the crash on Sunday.

Arnold was piloting the plane.

The Levy County Sheriff’s Office said the plane crashed in Williston, just outside of Gainesville. Investigators said the pilot planned to refuel in Williston on the way home from Kentucky.

The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash.
