Douglas Sills, who plays Monsieur Baudin on the show, will star as Tevye in “Fiddler on the Roof” at Signature Theatre.
Fans of the “The Gilded Age” will recognize Sills as the Russells’ chef who initially passed himself off as French but eventually revealed he was American and from Kansas.
“Fiddler on the Roof,” which centers around Tevye, a Jewish milkman, his family, and thier community in Czarist Russia, features songs inlcuding “Sunrise, Sunset,” “If I Were a Rich man,” and “Matchmaker.”
The musical opens on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025. Performances are set to run until Sunday, Jan. 25, 2026.
