Suspect accused of stabbing Abilene employee who confronted him after ban for stealing
Christopher Lamon Harris was taken into custody Wednesday for two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon in connection to the incident that happened in February 2022.
Court documents state Harris entered a business he had previously been banned from for shoplifting, and when an employee confronted him, he stabbed her in the torso.
Harris then cut the victim’s husband, who witnessed the attack, on his face and head when he went to help his wife, according to the documents.
The employee was able to identify Harris as the suspect from a photo lineup.
Harris now remains held in the Taylor County Jail on bonds totaling $300,000.
