Search underway for woman who allegedly stabbed man near Kentucky grocery store
MOON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Troopers with Kentucky State Police (KSP) have issued a warrant for a West Liberty woman’s arrest after she allegedly stabbed a man outside of Betty’s Grocery in the Moon community of Morgan County.

It happened around 1:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7, state police wrote in a news release. Troopers were sent to Betty’s Grocery, where they found Robert Jones, 46, of West Liberty, who had been stabbed on the inside of his right leg.

LATEST KENTUCKY NEWS:

First responders with the 172 Fire Department treated Jones at the scene until emergency personnel arrived to take him to St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.

Authorities said an arrest warrant was issued for Alaina Jade Gevedon, 35, of West Liberty.

An investigation into the stabbing remains ongoing.
