Our next active period of weather will develop Thursday as we see some tropical moisture streaming north, mixing with an upper-level low moving towards the state. This will bring increasing rain chances back to the Beehive state from south to north into the weekend. Right now, the wettest period looks to be Friday night into Saturday.
Temperatures will warm above average briefly late-week, before dropping again this weekend as the next upper low moves overhead. This system does have the potential to bring more decent rain totals for the valleys and healthy snow totals for the mountains. The heaviest rainfall looks to be targeting SE Utah.
