Later on in the day, the victim advised that when he entered the porta-potty on site, he was struck by what he observed to be an F-250 pickup truck. The victim then began to run away, but the suspect followed him and began fighting him until some of the other workers ran over.

The suspect then entered the truck and fled the area. When investigators arrived on scene, they observed the destroyed porta-potty and tire marks leading up to, over and then past the porta-potty.

The victim also had minor injuries above his left eye, but refused medical treatment from EMS.
