Members of the Lake Superior Violent Offenders Task Force got information on Hart’s location through the investigation that led to the search warrant.
The sheriff’s office said he was found underneath the basement stairwell in the home and refused to leave.
Authorities deployed PepperBall, which led to Hart being placed in custody; however, he was uncooperative after being put in handcuffs and assaulted deputies on scene.
A 29-year-old was also arrested for aiding an offender, according to the sheriff’s office.
Both Hart and the 29-year-old were booked into Itasca County Jail, pending arraignment for new charges.
