Baton Rouge doctor among finalists for inaugural Elevitta Mrs. India World pageant

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A Baton Rouge doctor is a finalist in the inaugural Elevitta Mrs. India World pageant, a platform celebrating the strength, grace, and global aspirations of Indian women.

The inaugural edition of Elevitta Mrs. India World 2025, India’s most prestigious national pageant for married women, has unveiled its list of finalists, with Dr. Thirumalini Dasari standing out as a professional and advocate for empowerment.

“It feels great. Life has come to a full circle for me. It’s 24 years since I came to America, and now I’m going back to my country to compete in this pageant,” said Dasari.

The pageant will end in Mumbai in late October. It’s not just a beauty contest; it’s a strong platform to uplift the voices and ideas of married Indian women. The winner will represent India on the global Mrs. World stage, making Elevitta Mrs. India World a landmark event in Indian pageantry.

“Indian pageantry is great. Like in the 90s, it’s a great golden era… there’s a lot of science behind Pageantry and that’s what Elevitta gave to me, a great structure and mentorship,” said Dasari.

Launched in 2025, Elevitta Mrs. India World marks a new chapter for Indian women on the international stage.

Though it’s the debut edition, the event is spearheaded by industry veterans and globally acclaimed mentors, ensuring the highest standards of grooming, elegance, and leadership.

The pageant is committed to celebrating the holistic success of Indian women—professional accomplishments, personal journeys, and societal impact.

“Inspiring the next generation is quintessential because that’s the energy we pass on and that’s what we want in this world to continue,” said Dasari.

The Baton Rouge doctor stands out among the finalists as a woman of intellect, poise, and purpose.

“I’m an ambassador for Susan G. Coleman. I’m doing a breast cancer walk in Dallas on October 18,” said Dasari.

More than just a contestant, Dasari is seen as a role model for women who aspire to break barriers and redefine success on their own terms. Her journey to the finals has inspired many, and her presence in this prestigious competition adds further depth and credibility to the platform.

“I’m a part of an organization called ‘OMG Conference’, and I do mentorship over there. We have like over 500 kids with disadvantaged families. We talk confidence, I mentor them, and we even go to schools,” said Dasari.

As the final event approaches, anticipation is building. The grand finale promises glamour, inspiration, and the crowning of a new national icon.

Supporters and pageant enthusiasts can follow Dasari’s journey and the latest updates on Elevitta Mrs. India World 2025 through official platforms and social media channels.
