Topeka CAVA restaurant to open soon

TOPEKA (KSNT) – A new Mediterranean restaurant is set to open soon in west Topeka to offer locals something different to try out this fall.

We checked back in with the restaurant chain CAVA to find out if an opening date is set yet for its new spot in the Capital City. The restaurant originally confirmed in March

that it would be investing in a fourth Kansas location on the west side of Topeka.

A CAVA spokesperson said a tentative opening date is currently set for Nov. 14 at 1750 Southwest Wanamaker Road. However, this date may change.

CAVA is known for offering customers Mediterranean flavors at its restaurants using ingredients sourced from Greece. CAVA’s menu mostly consists of bowls and pitas with sides like pita chips and hummus. It currently has three other locations in Kansas:

  • 6405 West 135th St. in Overland Park.
  • 11895 West 95th St. in Overland Park.
  • 8701 Shawnee Mission Pkwy in Mission.
