(KRON) — A preliminary 2.7-magnitude earthquake shook the South Bay Tuesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The epicenter was 4.8 miles northeast of San Jose’s Alum Rock in the East Foothills.
The tremblor occurred at 5:37 a.m. at a depth of 4.3 miles, USGS said.
There were no initial reports of damage or injuries.
