“It’s just been a great opportunity, and it brings a lot of awareness to the need for affordable housing. People are able to see what efforts are being made to remake our downtown area for the city of Shreveport.
Jonathan Reynolds, the Chief Commercial Officer at Carter Federal Credit Union, was one of many who rappelled down. Reynolds says he’s thankful for those who organized and participated in the event.
“I believe in and support both of the organizations that were hosting it, and I think it’s very important for people in the community to see various people from their community, whether they’re business leaders, entrepreneurs, or community advocates, really getting involved and supporting good causes,” said Reynolds.
