Crews responding to residential structure fire in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — The Salt Lake City Fire Department is currently responding to a residential structure fire at 1620 S 700 W.

700 W is closed in the area and traffic is being diverted at this time. Officials say that the fire is under control but are asking people to avoid the area at this time.

The Salt Lake City Fire Department will remain on scene for approximately an hour.

This is the second structure fire in Salt Lake City in the last 24 hours. On Monday night, crews responded to a structure fire burning in a large warehouse near 960 South and 700 West.
