Woman found dead in San Jose home, homicide investigation underway

(KRON) — Homicide detectives in San Jose are investigating after a woman was found dead inside a home early Sunday morning, according to authorities.

The San Jose Police Department responded at 2:49 a.m. to the 900 block of Wainwright Drive in the Downing-Whitethorne neighborhood, west of Del Mar High School, on the report of a possible dead body inside a residence. Arriving officers found a woman who was “obviously deceased,” SJPD said.

Police confirmed to KRON4 that the body had signs of trauma.

No further information about the deceased woman or the incident was released by authorities.
