The Polk County District Attorney’s Office said 32-year-old Ashley Audrianna Wood was sentenced to six years in prison and was ordered to serve a two-year term of post-prison supervision upon her release.
Wood’s sentencing comes after she pleaded guilty to four counts of aggravated identity theft, criminal possession of a forged instrument, three counts of forgery, computer crime and 26 counts of mail theft.
In two separate cases, Wood also pled guilty to unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and supplying contraband, the District Attorney’s Office noted.
During the investigation, authorities found five 10-gallon bags of stolen mail in Wood’s home, officials said, adding that efforts are being made to deliver the items to their rightful owners.
