LOUISINA (
KLFY) — Today the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals vacated a previous three judge panel opinion ruling Louisiana’s Ten Commandments law unconstitutional.
The court will rehear the case en banc (before the entire court).
Previously Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill filed a petition for the full Fifth Circuit Court to review the state’s Ten Commandment Law.
“Glad to see the Fifth Circuit is taking this en banc,” said Murrill. “Looking forward to those arguments in court.”
A date for oral argument has not yet been confirmed.
