Crime Reports: Another card reader found in Abilene

5300 block of Texas Avenue – Fraud
A card reader was found at a south-side Dollar General.

400 block of Sewell Street – Assault Family Violence
A man reported his ex-girlfriend scratched him on the face during a confrontation, drawing blood.

1200 block of South Bowie Drive – Assault
An assault report was taken at a southside location.

2700 block of Industrial Boulevard – CMTR
APD responded to a local business where a person returned after being warned of CMTR and was arrested.

3100 block of South 2nd Street – Burglary of Habitation
Witnesses reported that a man kicked in the front door and tried to enter the home, as well as the vehicle of one of the victims.

10 block of Lakewood Drive – Criminal Mischief
A report for Criminal Mischief was taken.

1600 block of Matador Street – Criminal Trespass
A victim reported that her neighbor went into her home without consent.

3500 block of Curry Lane – Assault Family Violence
A victim reported being assaulted by a known person.

2500 block of South 18th Street – Assault
A report was taken for an assault that may have occurred on the south side.

Ambler Avenue & Merchant Street – Drug Investigation
A drug investigation is underway.

2500 block of Maple Street – Assault
An assault report was taken on the south side.

1600 block of Franklin Street – Burglary of Habitation
A burglary report was taken on the southside.

4300 block of Southwest Drive – Assault
An assault was reported at the southside Walmart. The suspect was not on the scene at the time.

2500 block of South Clack Street – Assault
An unknown suspect threw items at the gas station clerk.

2000 block of North 2nd Street – Assault
A victim was reportedly assaulted by someone they knew. The suspect allegedly used pepper spray before physically attacking the victim, but the assault ended when the victim’s son arrived and intervened.

3200 block of Pine Street – Assault
A woman reported that her on-and-off boyfriend assaulted her and then fled the scene.

2700 block of North Judge Ely Boulevard – Burglary of Building
A northside apartment complex reported that one of its buildings was burglarized.

1400 block of Ballinger Street – Threat
A report for a terroristic threat was completed.

900 block of Grape Street – Assault
A victim reported being assaulted at a north side location.

3300 block of Ambler Avenue – Theft
An unknown suspect stole from a north side business.

800 block of East Stamford Street – Drug Investigation
A traffic stop in north Abilene led to a drug investigation.

2800 block of East Overland Trail – Theft
A theft report was taken in north Abilene.

1200 block of Yeomans Road – Assault
A victim reported her boyfriend assaulted her.

1200 block of Buccaneer Drive – Burglary of Habitation
A victim reported that an unknown suspect stole several thousand dollars’ worth of household goods and appliances.

100 block of South Leggett Drive – Theft
A known suspect allegedly stole a phone from her ex after a verbal argument.

2300 block of Meadowbrook Drive – Theft
A victim reported that a firearm was stolen about six months ago, but just realized it was missing.

800 Block of Sycamore Street – Criminal Mischief
A report for criminal mischief was taken at a south side residence.

2700 block of North 1st Street – Assault
An assault report was taken at a northside location.

1700 block of Butternut Street – Assault
An assault report was taken at a southside location.

800 block of North Mockingbird Lane – Theft of Motor Vehicle
A stolen vehicle report was taken at a northside location.

3200 block of Old Anson Road – Assault
An assault report was taken at a southside location.

4100 block of Potomac Avenue – Threat
A report was taken for a terroristic threat/family violence.
