68-year-old man previously reported missing located, APD says

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A 68-year-old man previously reported missing was located by a Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Trooper on Sunday, according to the Austin Police Department.

The man was last seen leaving in his wife’s vehicle in the 1100 block of Mansell Avenue around 5 a.m. Sunday, police said.

According to police, the man had medical conditions and undiagnosed memory loss that created a concern for his welfare
